Birds-eye view from a photo reconnaissance plane of 22nd Photo Recon Sq (7th PR Gp). The town is already occupied by the US Army and clusters of military vehicles are clearly visible in various parts of town.

Will add more hot spots as I identify various buildings used by US Army and other occupation-related agencies that were housed in Heidelberg in the post-war period.
